The Kaipaki Oval will have a 3 pitch Grass Block ready for next season thanks to the Ohaupo Bowling Club. Kaipaki Centre applied for a grant and are now able to have the pitch and watering to the pitch ready within the next few weeks. This will allow the Kaipaki Centre to organise the water and then reseed the outfield so all is ready for the start of the next season.
Many thanks to the Ohaupo Bowling Club.
Steel frames have been erected which is showing the above ground Pavilion structure is continuing and hopefully will be completed by Mid September. A lot of work has been done off sight (Ray Walker of course contributing a lot of time) and as the photos show were shifted on site and erected with very few issues. The next stages of completing the framing, shifting dirt for placing water tanks, then fitting the concrete floors on the first floor and then lots of volunteer hours needed to close the building in.
